Happy Birthday Siddhanth Kapoor: From Gyancho to Dawood Ibrahim

The actor-director Siddhant Kapoor was born to Shakti Kapoor and Shivagi Kolhpure, the famous actor couple from the yester years of the industry, the elder brother to actress Shraddha Kapoor, and the nephew of actresses Padmini Kolhapure and Tejaswini Kolhapure. He played some characters such as the funny and gory Gyancho in Shootout at Wadala which stars John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and others to Dawood Ibrahim in Haseena Parkar which stars Shraddha Kapoor as well!

Career and roles

He started his career by working as an assistant director in various films such as the 2007 comedy horror Bhool Bhulaiya, the 2006 comedy murder mystery Bhagam Bhag, the 2006 comedy drama Chup Chup Ke and the 2007 comedy Dhol. He then started acting in Sanjay Gupta's crime film Shootout at Wadala (2013) and later featured in Anurag Kashyap's psychological thriller film Ugly (2014).

In 2013, he made his acting debut with Sanjay Gupta’s Shoot Out at Wadala (2013) as the funny and gory character Gyancho and then went on to be a part of Jazbaa (2015), Haseena Parker (2017) as the famous underworld Drug-Lord Dawood Ibrahim, Paltan (2018), Bombairiya (2019), Yaaram (2019), Hello Charlie (2021), and Bhoot- Part-1: The Haunted Ship (2022). The actor was most recently seen in Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Chehre (2021). He has also appeared in the web series Bhaukaal in 2021, where he portrayed the character of Chintu Dedha.

Relationships and more….

Shakti Kapoor’s son Sidhhanth, was reported to be in a relationship with model Erika Packard the daughter of Gavin Packard, who featured in several blockbuster films in the 90s. Now, the couple is reported to be separated and since then Kapoor has been private about his dating life.
